You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men. (1 Corinthians 7:23 ESV)

As we meditate on the cross this Lenten season remember your value and calling. God is good enough to send Jesus to die for us and we were an important enough that He agreed to glorify His father by purchasing us with His blood. Because you have been st free from sin by the precious blood of Jesus take an inventory today of what seeks to enslave you and flee from it. It could be food, sloth, fear, money, pornography, praise or any other thing. You are not a slave!
